Our initiatives

Fewer Bets.
Fully Backed.

The Foundation does not scatter small grants. It builds a few initiatives, funds them in full, holds them to the standard of the name they carry, and stays with them for the long term.

Each answers a different moment in a life: a family that needs groceries this week, a student who needs honest advice about what to study and where, a scholar who needs a community to come home to.

About the Alumni Group

How it fits together

From the first need to the highest classroom

Our initiatives are designed as a continuum. Each removes the obstacle that would otherwise stop the next from mattering.

  1. Meet the need

Children do not learn hungry. A week without that worry is where everything else begins.

    Roubies
  2. Open access

Devices, connectivity and mentors for students whom geography had cut off from the modern economy.

    Classroom Without Walls
  3. Guide the path

Honest, evidence-based advice at every stage of education and work, whatever a family can pay.

    Admit Path
  4. Sustain leadership

A community that turns individual excellence into lasting public contribution.

Back an initiative

Schools, districts and nonprofits can sponsor Admit Path for the people they serve. Institutions and individuals can strengthen the Menzies Alumni Group’s mentoring and outreach. Individuals can pay for a family’s week of groceries through Roubies. Whatever the scale, we will tell you exactly where your support goes.
